Champagne André Fays is a family owned business located in the heart of Côte des Bar. This is the southernmost champagne region and its winemakers are famous for their more experimental champagnes. André Fays cultivates four varieties of grapes, including Pinot Blanc, which is extremely rare for champagne. They already have been creating unique products for three generations and are constantly working on innovative techniques.

This champagne is a Solera (perpetual reserve) 100% Pinot Noir. The Solera is built over time by adding amounts of champagne from each harvest to a storage vessel. The perpetual reserve is then aged for five years in order to create a unique taste profile. This technique is said to allow the old grapes to teach the young grapes while the young grapes keep the older ones fresh. that results in a powerful, distinctive yet fine taste.
